Water Treatment Equipment Upgrade Project for Guilin Pure Water Plant

Summary: Recently, we have completed a comprehensive upgrade and reconstruction of water treatment equipment for our key client, Guilin Pure Water Plant, a local professional bottled drinking water manufacturer. By optimizing the entire water treatment process, replacing outdated equipment and updating the intelligent monitoring system, we have resolved long-standing water quality issues for the client, greatly improved water quality and production efficiency, and laid a solid foundation for its long-term stable development in the fiercely competitive bottled drinking water market.

Project Background

Renowned for its breathtaking natural scenery, Guilin is endowed with high-quality water resources, which provides unique advantages for the development of the bottled pure water industry. However, the client’s original water treatment system had been in service for many years with outdated technological processes and aging equipment. This not only resulted in insufficient purification capacity and difficulty in stably meeting international drinking water standards, but also caused high energy consumption and frequent equipment malfunctions, restricting the enterprise’s production expansion and product quality improvement.

Faced with dual pressures from market competition and quality upgrading, the client was in urgent need of a professional and systematic water treatment upgrading solution. It aimed to transform obsolete processes into advanced water treatment systems, so as to enhance the core competitiveness of its products in the bottled drinking water market.

Project Challenges

Following thorough on-site investigation and in-depth communication with the client, we summarized the core challenges of this upgrading projectThe original water treatment process was backward with inadequate purification capacity, which failed to effectively remove turbidity, water hardness and bacteria, resulting in unstable water quality that could not meet high-standard drinking water requirements. Aging equipment led to low production efficiency, high energy consumption, frequent failures and high maintenance costs, disturbing the continuous and stable operation of the production line. The outdated intelligent monitoring system was unable to conduct real-time monitoring of equipment operation status and water quality parameters, making it hard to detect and solve potential problems in a timely manner. In addition, the upgrading construction needed to minimize disruption to normal production, ensure smooth transition of the production line, and achieve rapid commissioning and operation.

According to the client’s actual demands and project challenges, we customized a comprehensive and targeted water treatment upgrading solution centered oprocess optimization, equipment renewal, intelligent control and efficiency improvement. It realized full-process upgrading from raw water treatment to finished product delivery

  • 1.Full-process Technological UpgradeWe eliminated the outdated water treatment process and adopted a multi-stage deep purification system, including advanced pretreatment, double-stage RO reverse osmosis and dual disinfection processes. The integrated system achieves one-stop treatment for turbidity removal, water softening and sterilization, effectively eliminating impurities, harmful substances and microorganisms in raw water, and ensuring the produced water complies with international high-standard drinking water specifications.
  • 2.Core Equipment ReplacementAll aging and low-efficiency devices were replaced with high-performance, energy-saving and durable water treatment equipment, including new membrane modules, high-efficiency filters and dosing systems. The new equipment not only improves purification efficiency, but also greatly reduces energy consumption, fundamentally solving the problems of high energy consumption and frequent malfunctions of the original equipment.
  • 3.Intelligent Monitoring System InstallationWe installed a professional PLC intelligent monitoring system and real-time data acquisition devices, which can monitor operating parameters and water quality indicators (such as conductivity) of the whole water treatment system in real time.

Upon completion of the upgrading project, the overall performance of Guilin Pure Water Plant’s water treatment system has been comprehensively improved, and the project has gained high recognition from the client. The specific achievements are as follows:

All indicators including turbidity, water hardness and bacterial count meet and exceed international drinking water standards, laying a solid foundation for the client to expand its bottled drinking water market.
